Founded in 1958, AARP is a nonprofit, nonpartisan membership organization that helps people 50 and over improve the quality of their lives. AARP has grown to over 43 million members and has offices in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. As the nation’s largest membership organization for people 50+, AARP is leading a revolution in the way people view and live life after 50. ProjectBegining in 2001AARP recognized the opportunity to share information, lead change, and make a difference in peoples lives through their Life@50+ National Event and Expo. AARP choose Event Producrs to work in concert with their staff at every level to help deliver their message in more ways than ever. Their national conferences move around the United States each year and draw more than 25,000 people in attendance. Event Producers is responsible for all facets of event production, technical design, scenic construction, visual and multimedia design, talent relation, and contracting. Event producers has provided these services since 2001 at more than 8 conferences and two specialty events. Talent has included Rod Stewart, Elton John, Paul Simon, Jay Leno, Bill Cosby, José Tony Bennett, Natalie Cole, James Earl Jones, Walter Cronkite, Dana Carvey, Dr. Phil, Ballet Hispanica, Young at Heart, Queen Latifa, Mary Tyler Moore, The Smothers Brothers, appearances by First Lady Laura Bush and Presidential Candidate John Kerry, Arnold Schwartznegger, Sylvester Stallone, and more. |
